Starting Point at Beau Joubert Winery 40 minutes from Cape town and 20 minutes from the Airport.
10 minutes from central Stellenbosch.
Half Day Tour:
Start Times: 09:00 -09:30 and 12:30-13:00.

The Stellenbosch Wine Bus Tour starting at Beau Joubert Winery, a 350 year old estate on the M12 Polkdraai Rd in the Stellenbosch Kloof , visits some novel and creative estates incorporating some well established biodiversity integrated farm practice initiatives, including a full on organic production unit.
Then on to De Morgenzon where baroque music plays 24 /7 in the vineyards, we pass wild flower plantings in the vineyards - quite a spectacular scene in Spring and Summer. A nursery has been established for farmers purchasing indigenous plants, specifically for rebalancing habitats in and around vineyards.
In this region, in and around the vineyards, Cape Dwarf Chameleons are often seen. Increased numbers of water fowl, Fish Eagle and many of the indigenous Cape Bird life is the first to return in sustainable farming operations, bring binoculars! Jordan Wines is also en route, their exceptional award winning wines are always popular, a new restaurant is open this year, nestled at a dam with plenty water fowl to entertain.
Another stop is Uitewyke, which is a wine farm with 5 generations of wine makers, the oldest pinotage vineyard in SA and outstanding wines.

This tour has some of the best photographic panoramic shots of the Cape, so bring a camera!!
A brief descriptionof what the Full Day Tour entails:
Pick up at your Guest house or hotel in Cape Town.
The tour starts out the same as the half day tour (see above).
Then after Lunch, there is a tour of the historic Stellenbosch old town galleries and historic sites, were you get to see the original cape architecture. This is fascinating history all with an informative driver guide for the balance of day. Return to Cape Town or airport at about 17:30.

Starting at 7am we meander our way through the historical farms through vineyards and orchards. Then it's up the steep slopes of Dassenberg Mountain, through the forests and fynbos to the Mountain top.
Spectacular views, camera essential.
Capture the views of Franschhoek and the Midderkransberg while sipping the valley’s premier Champagne together with light breakfast on high a relaxation of a different kind.
Excursion Approx. 1.5 Hours.
Tour 2: Adventure Wine tour
Start at 09:30 and 14:00 (Summer 17:00 - 20:00)
Sunset trail for the more Adventurous.
A 3 hour trip which takes you through vineyards, orchards and forest.
We stop at a wine estate for tasting before heading up Matoppie, a mountain that climbs to 2176 ft . The tracks lead between the mountain fynbos to one of the most breathtaking views the valley has to offer.
A bird’s eye view of the newly built Berg River dam, surrounded by Wemmerhoek mountain range. A view seen by few. Here we stop for refreshments and snacks. We then meander down the southern side and partake in yet another wine tasting and vineyard tour, before heading home to slightly more civilized surroundings.
Tour 3: Champagne tour
A leisurely trip on the back roads of Franschhoek.
You are taken through the vineyards to the underground cellars. An educational tasting of champagne made the classical way.
